I put a kindergartener on the bus to school this morning, and they sent me back a first-grader. I'd never have believed I could love anyone more than I loved that kindergartener, but now I know better! So stinkin' proud of my precious, smart, sweet little girl.

ReplyDeletePS - I've been meaning to tell you something. I don't know if you saw on my blog when I posted that I am going to be a Grandma. I'm so excited! Anyway - it's going to be a girl and guess what Laura and Aaron are calling her? Bean! I thought that was pretty funny. You probably thought you had the only Bean, but there's another one on the way!
She is really something special! I hope you have a wonderful summer with your new little first-grader and your Peabody!

Congratulations to Bean! What a grown up girl she is becoming. I absolutely love the picture (the big grin with the very loose tooth, ready to fall out, the medal she is so proud of, and the fact that she looks SO MUCH like her MOMMY!) So proud!
