Life, Through My Roseola-Colored Glasses

I am not kidding people: I threw a couple of handfuls of dry Cheerios on the rug in front of the TV this morning and watched the kids eat 'em, one by one.

Yep, there ya go! Breakfast!

It has been, to say the least, an interesting few days.

throwing cheerios on the carpet...what an image...I'm still laughing.

    Hope things look up soon.

  3. Little Jesse is walking now, but a few months ago when he was just starting to army crawl, the kids lured him around the living room floor with strategically-spaced cheerios. I recorded that and sent it in to America's Funniest Home Videos. I'm still waitin' for the call...

  4. I hope this finds you all on the mend. Sickness is just icky, but especially when the little one's get it. Hope the kids enjoyed their breakfast. I am going to have to try that one sometime:)

  5. Even if you get the immunizations it's no guarantee . . . Our whole family had whooping cough except my oldest son, who'd just had his 5-year booster. My 3-year old had the vaccine, but got it anyway.

Afterward, I could see why the elderly and infants die from it -- it was that bad.

All that to say, even a vaccine can't prevent everything!

Relieved that Peabody is on the mend and that the light at the end of the sickness tunnel is visible for you!

  7. I have done the same thing...three sick kids, one mama that could barely move, and a husband that could NOT get out of a meeting... I dumped the entire box out on a comforter and told the kids to dig in. They thought it was great.

Oh boy was that a bad one.

Hope you tomorrow is better than the last few days have been!!!
