Thank Goodness I Got The Camera Turned Off Before She Demanded The Fifty Dollars and A Charms Blo-Pop I'd Bribed Her With

Been tagged by several of my bloggy and Facebook pals for this Interview with Your Child thingy and I thought it'd be fun to capture Bean's answers in a video.

I apologize for the quality of the audio, people. You can hear me and you can CERTAINLY hear Mr. Peabody tearin' it up beside me in his exersaucer, but you may have to resort to readin' Bean's lips for the first couple of minutes because the SUPER HIGH QUALITY MIKE I WAS USIN'(snort) didn't quite pick up her first few shy answers.

The funniest thing she said by far is "We both have perfect teeth." OHMYWORD. Where does she get these things?

That was so lovely and it really captured Bean's cutie-pie personality as well as tyhe lovely relationship you two have :D

I am stunned though that you have a child who will sit still and answer all the questions at once! Had I tried to video mine it would have shown me chasing them around the house and trying to sneak questions into the conversation over the course of a whole day!

Yay for Bean's attention span!!

p.s. you sound pretty southern to me ;)

Love it! I had my boys answer these too and the answers they gave were hilarious! What an ego boost when they can't think of anything mama isn't "good at" huh? LOL

Looking forward to that rock show... wherein Bean will have to be sure and tell that skunk joke. Because, man, that was KILLER.

I hope you know how much I enjoyed this, She is cute in pictures but to see and hear her on film is priceless! I love her different list - totally made up of things you both have. And the best - "You're the best Mom ever!"
PS - I loved hearing your voice too!

That was so cute. She just seems so grown up! And I loved her expressions when she was answering the question about how you are different!

Oh! How wonderful this was!!! I loved every second of it! Your sweet Bean is so special to me, probably in a similar way that you've said my boys are to you. Isn't that a lovely thing to share between us from the last frazzled 4-or-so years?! ;)

So, I LOVED hearing the interview with Bean! 8 minutes and 20 seconds in? For about 30 seconds? What a sweetie pie!!!! I love her very grown up expressions as she says what you have and what she does not, hehe! Her expressions are really really grown up, but she's still a cutie-pie tiny little girl! I love that :)

I neeeeed to do this with Arthur. It's just the kind of thing he would LOVE, seriously. He drew a picture of his favourite activity the other day - red lips and white teeth. I asked what it was, and he said his favourite activity is talking (NOT a surprise to this mama). He would LOVE to be interviewed! Do you have an easy list of questions I can read (a link or anything?). Otherwise I will go back through the cute cute video and write them down as I hear them.

I also loved hearing your voice. I would seriously love to listen to your voice alllll day long, I kid you not. You have the type of voice and accent that is just LOVELY to my ears. Also, what a lovely mama you are! You're so great with Bean, and I've no doubt Peabody too! I wish we were neighbours :(

Megan,

The first thing I want to say is that I am a bit sad that I didn't even get ONE SECOND of baby footage. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED seeing Bean talk for 9 minutes and 46 seconds. LOVED IT!!!!!! But come on! Not even a glimpse of that boy????

As for the interview, I really really enjoyed it. My favorite answer was about how yall are different. She was QUICK to point out all your electronics that she DOESN'T HAVE! How funny! Her expressions on that question were priceless. I love me some Bean toes too!!!! Please tell her that I will TRY to interview Nathan and Ava via video one of these days and post it on diaryland.

Thank you for at LEAST sharing your daughter with us! Love you. julie

She is so beautiful!

Can't wait for your band to make its debut! ;)

I loved Bean's joke & her "you're the best mama ever" answer. xoxo

Boo loved this video. I haven't seen her sit that still, enthralled in a video, for a long time. As soon as it was done she said, "Are there any bonus features?" :)

Dacey and I enjoyed this IMMENSELY. Worth every penny of the fifty you had to lay down for cooperation. :)

Tell Bean that we love her too!!!
Such adorable expressions while she answered. Silly answers, but consider the source...what a family!

Your southern accent is FADING and you sound like a CHICAGOAN! (I lived there awhile so I know what I'm saying, girlfriend!)

Next time, try having the mic closer to the answeree and farther from the hostess?

Oh my goodness the cuteness factor was off the charts on this one! I agree with several others, her expressions while talking about what is different about you were truly priceless. And the joke...she's got a future there baby.
