Methinks It's Time to Restock the Reader Mailbag

Are y'all tired of readin' all about how hard my life is lately with my two kids?

Well, I sure am tired of writin' about it. It's just they THEY'RE ALL I HAVE GOIN' ON!

Is it too soon to solicit more questions from y'all? To give me sump'm else to think and write about?

It isn't?

M'kay then. Ask away in the comments!

Seriously. Help a girl out here.

Oh, and lest you think I've given up writin' altogether, I'm up over at 5 Minutes for Parenting today! I wrote about how I'm havin' to come to grips with my obsession with perfection lately. I bet y'all can relate, so make sure to leave your thoughts on the matter in the comments over there.

  1. Hmmm well I for one never tire of hearing aout your gorgeous two ;)

....But two questions that popped straight into my head are...

    1. Is the photo above any part of your real life home? Coz if it is I'm jealous!!!

    2. How did you come to live where you do? what made you choose that house/street/town/state etc.?

  3. I have twins, who are now 3. I was obsessed with perfection. But they have broken me out of that mold.

How is it with a pre-schooler, and a baby? Is she jealouse? (BTW I think I spelled that wrong)

  4. Having raised a few 'chilluns' myself, I can relate to your posts and find the way you say things much funnier than how I would!

Just keep posting for the rest of us who love to hear how someone else deals with Life and Mommyhood!

  5. I love your posts about how things are going. I'm in the same boat with you, except I just had my THIRD (I have 4.5 and 2 year old boys and a 3 week old girl now). And I'm finding things just as crazy as you are. I read your blog and it almost feels like you are following me around writing about my life! I don't write about my happenings nearly as articulately as you, though. I do so love your style!

I don't really have a question, just wanted to encourage you to keep posting, I love reading what you write and feeling like I'm not a failure at this mommy thing, after all!

  6. My question is about food.

We all know how much you love cooking in your kitchen. With everything else going on around you (like the kids) what if anything has changed about your action in the kitchen?

  7. You rock and I'm so glad to have found you! You should write a book ya know!?! Your writing style reminds me of a favorite author Mary Kay Andrews. Anywho.....

Comment/Question: Ok, no really... just an idea. Had a friend who started with "General rules I live by" and he listed things that he just typically tries to stick with morally ethically, whatever. Ex: He said "as a general rule I try to never be alone with a woman for any length of time other than my wife, mother or daughter"

His wife went on to make a list of "I always..." which were a little more relaxed and funny. She says "I always count when I pee" TMI info, right?!

Still, think it's a fun topic to ponder....

And... I also wanta know if that porch is really yours cause it sure is pretty!

  11. I'm always interested in what books, authors, teachers, movies, etc. have influenced someone and why. Especially: What do you keep coming back to?

How have you changed or grown spiritually and as a person, and what helps you grow?

I know these are deep questions for someone who's sleep-deprived, so take your time--but I'd love to hear your answers!

Those are beautiful babies y'all got over on yore place...!

  12. Apart from nutella : ), what's your favorite snack? What's Al's? Bean's?

I seem to recall you mentioning an affinity for Frasier and the West Wing in the past... any other favorites? What about Al?

I always like finding out how similar wives' and husbands' tastes are. Anything you love that he can't stand, or the other way around?

  16. Just wanted to say that I appreciate someone who writes about how hard it actually is with two kids. (And I know mothers of more are rolling their eyes at me.) Nobody ever tells you how many hours you're going to spend feeling frazzled and like you're losing your mind. I enjoy reading your blog because you tell it how it is. :)

And I, too, want to know if that's your porch up there in your header. It's beautiful!
