  1. Oh hon, hugs to you, I don't envy you that! Is everybody okay? Take care of you, and those adorable little ones, it's almost the weekend!

  2. That's what they made video capable iPods for, if you can afford that kind of luxury of course.

God bless you, sweetie! I'll drink a margarita for you tonight cause I'm sure you could use one, but Peanut may not appreciate it. ;)

  3. oh and it's so much better when the oldest is a boy that enjoys crashing the large trucks provided in the claustorphobia-inducingly small exam rooms into the wall at top speed complete with sound effects.

there is not enough valium in the world to make my skin not crawl in that situation.

  7. In my fairytale life, I used to think that if I brought both kids somewhere and one was unruly, it would make the employees move faster to get us the hell out of there. Not so! That automatically puts them in their
    s l o w e s t gear.

Why did Peanut need a blood draw? Is that routine at 6 weeks? Mema's worried now :(

  11. Oh no honey!
I was lucky with Povey and my mum took Jaya Papaya for the day. I must admit that at the time I was secretly looking forward to a restful couple of days in hospital with just my boy and so was diappointed when they said he wasn't jaundiced after all! ;)

  12. My son had to have blood draws for jaundice. I made Daddy take him. I couldn't handle it.

  13. Been there, done that--it is horrible. Good analogy, the root canal and all. I hope you all are better today!

  14. For heaven's sake! You have my sympathies. I certainly hope they were able to get a good draw on the first try....

  15. It's so wierd that they did a blood draw at 6 weeks- my dr. is the only one in our area that even does them at 9 mos- I guess most dr's do them only at a year!

My son had his done at 9mos, and it was the worst experience of his young life- he threw his head back and scream/sobbed the whole time- it was SO SAD. And the look on his face said, "Why, oh, why would you let them do this to me?" I cried, too, of course. :(
