I love Fall, but not what comes after!

As you can see I am not a poet, or a writer but I gave it the old college try.

  2. Ode to an Indian Summer, Haiku-style

    Fall seems so distant
    Dreaming of sweaters and coats
    Where oh where is fall?

ps - to answer your question... Sean broke the window with a rock; my son was very upset about the whole thing ("That is MAMA'S car!!... THAT is NOT YOUR car...)

  3. I don't have anything clever to say, but I'll tell you I was completely amazed at the number of boats I saw out on the river today! It's October--the boats should be stored and we shouldn't be sweating. Next week will bring the cool air--thank goodness!

  5. Yes, I hate to be ungrateful, but I have already reorganized my closest with my fall and winter clothes. It was 88 here today. It is October! I am ready to wear sweaters. Granted in 3 months I will have had my fill of winter and will start complaining all over again.

  7. I second (or 3rd, 4th, 5th.. whatever I am) that! It should not be 80 degrees (like it is here, today) in October. Argh.
