Happy Birthday, Nana!

She's a little bit of a rag-a-muffin this morning, but her heart's in the right place...

Nana, we hope you have a great day today! Your gift is in the mail, but it'll be late. You know, 'cause it's from me.

We Love You,

Al, Alex and Megan

  2. That is too cute! I will take a rag-a-muffin any day over a made-up, primped and preened diva-child.

Enough to melt any Nana's heart.

  3. Oh, have mercy, that was cute! And we got to hear your voice...singing! What a bonus! Your voice sounds just like my friend Sara, the one who got me started blogging and who is such an inspiration to me.

  4. I bet her Nana enjoyed that more than any gift she may get. She is so precious. She will be breaking some hearts when she gets older. Tell Al to be prepared for the boys at your door!

  5. Thank you Megan and Alex for the wonderful birthday message. We all went to lunchfor my birthday and then over to your Aunt and Uncle's to see the house and Joy said she had seen Megan's blog this AM and had I seen it. I answered in the negative whereupon she dashed down the basement with me in tow and turned on the computer and we saw the precious little Alex singing to Nana on her birthday. How thoughtful and sweet. We loved it!! Thank you for a wonderful gift, better than any card or gift you could have thought of. Love, Nana

  7. Awwww, that was so cute! And just when did Bean get so big. She looks like she's about 4! She has definately moved from a toddler to little girl, if that makes sense.

  8. What a sweetheart. I can't believe how grown up she is now. (I know I say that every time you post videos or photos but it's true!) I love love love her hair. :) Today is Kent's birthday and Riley flat our REFUSED to sing. He's been acting more like he's almost 14 rather than almost 4. Sheesh.

  11. That's what my mom used to call us--little ragamuffins. Well, that and chitlins. It wasn't until I found out what chitlins were many years later that I was shocked at her choice of terms :)

  13. I know she will someday think that gorgeous golden hair is a curse, but I am so-o jealous! I spend way too many dollars a year to get curls! Just precious!

  15. Those curls! What a sweetiepie! My preschooler shows all the signs of what I'm sure will someday be Oppositional Defiance Disorder--he refuses to sing Happy Birthday until After I hang up the phone!
